Top 40 American Presidents Ranked from Worst to Best
1 Warren G. Harding
Warren G. Harding was the first president elected after white women were given the right to vote. If you were curious, this means the first 28 presidents were elected by mostly white men only. Harding was from Ohio, where he made his way in the newspaper business, ending up owning the Marion Star. Even after he was elected, he barely left Ohio.
During his presidency (1921 to 1923), he led a “return to normalcy” and officially ended World War I when he declared peace with Austria, Hungary and, of course, Germany. If you are wondering why his term was so short, well, that’s because he died of a heart attack while in office. His presidency probably wouldn’t have lasted much longer hadn’t he died though, because he suffered many scandals in just two years.
